3 products to make your life that bit easier

I like a good shortcut - who doesn’t? Present me with a handy hack or a time-efficient tool and I will absorb it into my lifestyle quicker than you can sputter the words ‘lazy bugger’. As a lover of both technology and efficiency alike, I’ve managed to find a few products that have been working hard to make my life infinitely better, and I thought I’d share some of those with you lot today (and you say I never treat you!!)

First thing’s first, if you haven’t heard of one of these jolly little wireless USBs then you’ve been missing out. I’ve been keeping an eye on Sandisk’s wireless drives for a while now, even sporting a slightly larger media drive over the last few years, but they’ve now taken it to the next level and have come out with WIRELESS USBS! What a world we live in, eh? Yes - they still plugs into your computer and perform traditional USB duties (which are always useful) but it also works as a wireless hard drive, meaning that I can load it up with my favourite episodes of Modern Family or Brooklyn Nine-Nine and watch them on my iPad with just the switch of an (incredibly small) button. Not only that, but you can set up the USB to backup your photos from your phone so that you can keep your memory freed up but keep all of your photos at arm’s length if you want to post a #flashbackfriday or two. Next one’s just for the girls I’m afraid - an app to rule all period-tracking apps - Clue. I, as well as most of you, I imagine, have fiddled with my fair share of period-tracking apps over the years without much success (how am I supposed to know how long my cycle is - isn’t that your job, app?!) Clue, however, is by far the best I’ve come across. Not only can you track your actual period but you can also enter data like mood swings, sleep, cravings, mental health and much more. Since using Clue I’ve noticed loads of trends in my cycle that I never realised before (like for some weird reason I tend to get PMS-like symptoms halfway through my cycle, not just before my period - weird!) It also provided you with personalised reports, helpful tips and even the ability to share your cycle with someone else. This isn’t sponsored by Clue by the way - I just think it’s brilliant!

The last one is a bit boring but as someone who not only likes multipurpose tools but is also a keen traveller, this is one of the best investments I’ve ever made. Even if you’re not planning on travelling internationally anytime soon, the Skross World Travel Adapter MUV USB adaptor is seriously top notch. I won’t go into all of the specifics but along with being a usable adapter in over 220 countries, it also has 2 USB ports which can be used at the same time, meaning that this is the only adapter you’ll ever really need as it can also be used as a USB charger in your home country. There are definitely cheaper versions available, but this bad boy is so amazingly durable and efficient that for me at least, it’s definitely worth forking out those extra pennies. Buy one here.
